UK Assisted Dying Bill: Exploring Dissensus Through Dialogue

Chaired by the Ethox Centre's Associate Professor Mehrunisha Suleman, there will be a discussion on the UK Assisted Dying Bill and areas of moral disagreement between particular interest groups.

Uehiro Oxford Institute's Director of Medical Ethics Professor Dominic Wilkinson will be in conversation with multidisciplinary practitioner and cultural leader Mr Jamie Hale, exploring ways to move discussion forward in the face of dissensus on the bill.

The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception, and there will be a group going to dinner afterward for anyone interested in joining.

30th April, 5-7pm. Optional reception 7-7:30pm and informal PAYG dinner afterward.

Venue

Reuben College Lecture Theatre, entrance via Reuben College Lodge on Parks Road.
