Nathan Mech oversees the Acton Institute's Collins Center for Abrahamic Heritage, which he helped found in 2022 to engage Jewish, Christian, and Muslim leaders in dialogue on ethical questions. Nathan is responsible for diversifying Acton Institute’s religious audiences and for overseeing the vision, strategy, and execution of the Collins Center’s programs, which include international conferences, debates, publications, and global network building. He has nearly a decade of experience in the think tank industry and also serves as a board member for a public charter school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Grove City College, a Graduate Certificate in Religions of the World from Harvard University Extension School, and is pursuing an MSt in Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford. His research interests include AI’s treatment of religion, debates around the moral status of humans and non-humans, and the relationship between religion and the state.
